
An exhibition of works from the international art colony "Kumanovo 2021" was opened at the Lapidarium of the National Institution Museum - Kumanovo.
The exhibition presented the entire production of works created last year at the ASNOM Memorial Complex in Pelince.
The audience had the opportunity to see more than 30 works of art - paintings, oil on canvas and combined techniques by 15 academic artists, participants of the colony in 2021, both from the Republic of North Macedonia and from the neighboring countries and region: Serbia, Bulgaria, Croatia and Bosnia and Herzegovina.
The works were made by: Tanja Solarska Temelkovski, Ivana Tuševska, Stefan Mladenovski, Marija Trajanoska, Miroslav Velichkovski, Ivana Nasteski and Dejan Božinovski from Macedonia, Jelena Vragović, Nebojša Đuranović, Vladimir Ilic, Marijana Rakičević and Zvezdana Đerić from Serbia, from Croatia, Lea Cepic, Panta Pantic from Bjelina (BIH) and Nebojša Stankov from Bulgaria.
This year's participants of the art colony, who currently work and create at the Gracija restaurant in Kumanovo, were also guests at the exhibition.
The exhibition is organized by the Museum - Kumanovo and the Municipality of Kumanovo, and the art colony "Kumanovo" is financially supported by the Municipality of Kumanovo and the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Macedonia.
It has been organized since 1974, making it one of the oldest art events in the country. So far, a large number of renowned authors from our country and around the world have passed through the colony. They have left behind a rich collection of works that exceeds 600 paintings and sculptures.
