NI Museum Kumanovo with an award at the international festival CAMERA 300

The documentary film "A Few Churches from Kumanovo with Carved Imperial Doors", by the author Valentina Andrejić, senior curator of art historian at the National Museum - Kumanovo, received a Special Plaque for Enduring Values ​​at the 30th anniversary edition of the International Amateur Documentary Film Festival CAMERA 300, in Bitola.

This festival took place on October 28 and 29, 2022, and 40 documentary films from 11 European countries (Great Britain, Turkey, Bulgaria, Slovenia...) and 1 film from America participated.

This festival is held as part of the program of the city of Bitola on the occasion of November 4, the day of the liberation of the city. The awards were presented by the Deputy Mayor of Bitola, Mr. Bojan Bojkoski.

Otherwise, this festival is exclusively for cultural purposes and as such it cherishes the tradition and cultural values ​​of the peoples.

The documentary film "Several churches from Kumanovo with carved imperial doors" is a project supported by the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Macedonia for 2022. The documentary film was produced in cooperation with TV Plus from Kumanovo.

The film features 5 churches: St. Bogorodica in Pchinja, St. Nikola in Vince, St. Ilija in Živenje, St. Nikola in K'šanje, and St. Athanasius in Kokošinje.
